The Center of Biotechnology of Borj Cédria in Tunisia is the most important research centre in agrobiotechnology in Tunisia. It develops multidisciplinary research activities to establish biotechnological methodologies to improve tolerance of plants to abiotic stresses (drought, salinity), to characterize, exploit and improve the local genetic resources and establish sustainable crop production systems.
