H2Global is a foundation located in Hamburg, Germany. The purpose is to promote the protection of the environment and the climate as well as the promotion of science and research. Accordingsly, its motto is "Shaping the global energy transition".

This aim is achieved by measures that serve to promote the production and use of Green Hydrogen and other climate-neutral energy carriers (climate-neutral or defossilised energy carriers) at national and international level, including in developing and newly industrialised countries. Activities shall be carried out and supported which, through scientific, journalistic or other practical activities, through education, consulting and information as well as through analyses and studies, promote the improvement of the use of these energy carriers and thus serve the protection of the climate.
