(National Institute for Agronomic Studies in Congo - INEAC) INERA was created in 1933. It enjoys the status of a Public Establishment of a scientific and technological nature. It includes 5 research centers, each located in a particular agro-ecological zone of the country:
  • M’vuazi in Kongo Central province
  • Gandajika in the province of Lomami
  • Yangambi in Tshopo
  • Nioka in Ituri, and
  • Mulungu in South Kivu
