Pac-ci/site ANRS de Côte d’Ivoire
The Pac-ci programme is a research centre with "non-governmental organisation (NGO)" status, created in 1996 and the result of cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and France. This research centre is governed by an agreement between these two countries with :
For Côte d'Ivoire, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
For France, the National Agency for Research on HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis (ANRS-REACTING), the National Institute for Health and Medical Research, the University of Bordeaux and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since its creation, the Pac-ci programmehas been a leader in the field of health research, with research projects on the HIV/AIDS epidemic, viral hepatitis, maternal and child health, tuberculosis, and more recently, infectious diseases with endemic potential (including viral haemorrhagic fevers or Covid-19).
