Africa Meets Bavaria – Building Entrepreneurial Bridges

"Africa meets Bavaria" is a two-year project funded by the Bavarian State Chancellery that aims to connect young African tech talents with the Bavarian innovation ecosystem. The project promotes entrepreneurial collaboration by supporting local innovation in Africa and enabling Bavarian companies to explore emerging African markets. By addressing global challenges such as sustainability, mobility transformation, and climate change, the initiative contributes to the sustainable development and economic growth of African countries. The program consists of three key components: First, African talents receive a two-week introductory course followed by a three-month practical training in digital product development from October 2024 to April 2025. Second, ten selected participants take part in a two-month exchange with Bavarian start-ups in Africa from June to July 2025. Third, in September 2025, Bavarian business representatives will join a one-week learning visit to Africa to build networks and explore market opportunities.
