The project aims to transform Malawi’s existing ETAT (Emergency Triage, Assessment & Treatment) guidelines for pediatric emergencies into a digital decision-support tool. This tool will enable fast, standardized, and readily accessible emergency care across medical facilities. Initially, 15 hospitals and health centers will be involved, with a nationwide rollout planned in the fifth year. Close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) ensures high acceptance, practical relevance, and long-term impact.
