The ENERGISE project — “ENabling a Just Energy Transition through Renewable Energy, Governance, and Innovative Sustainable Entrepreneurship” — has been selected for funding under the African‑German Centre for Just Energy Transition initiative. Coordinated by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in partnership with four South African universities, the project aims to train the next generation of engineers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to co-create equitable, resilient, and sustainable energy systems across Africa. It focuses on decentralised, decarbonised, and locally rooted energy innovation.
