The H2Map-Educate project aims to support the hydrogen economy in Namibia, South Africa, and Türkiye by linking technological innovation with academic capacity building. At the core of the project is the development of a modular open-source web application for mapping hydrogen potentials, infrastructure, and demand. In addition, a “Learning Factory” will be established on the NUST campus in Namibia, providing both physical and digital training environments for vocational and academic education. By integrating sustainability indicators, the project will also enable a comprehensive assessment of socio-ecological risks.
