Lasers4NetZero – Laser material processing training for net-zero transition

Electric vehicle manufacturing generates about 30โ€ฏ% of total vehicleโ€‘related emissions, mainly due to inefficient material use, low process efficiency, and product defects. The Lasers4NetZero project tackles these issues by advancing laser processing, AIโ€‘based quality control, and process simulation, while training PhD researchers in these fields. Its goal is to reduce waste, boost efficiency and product quality, and deliver marketโ€‘ready solutions for lowerโ€‘carbon EV production.
