The German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA) promotes interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration as well as the training of early-career researchers in global health by funding innovative, cross-sectoral research projects and Global Health Fellowships.
Within this framework, the PHONIC project evaluates public health measures for climate change mitigation and adaptation, with the aim of strengthening their resilience to current and future challenges. The project develops a practical decision-support tool that enables the systematic assessment of public health intervention packages addressing the health impacts of climate change. This tool is designed to be flexible and adaptable to different contexts and settings.
