PLURA – Project Learning and Resource Platform Africa

PLURA stands for "Project Learning and Resource Platform Africa". The project was initiated and implemented by the Bayreuth Academy of Advanced African Studies between January 2017 and September 2019. It was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the project "Future Africa - Visions in Time". Since January 2019, the Bayreuth Academy has been an institution within the Africa Multiple Cluster; PLURA is supervised by Prof. Gabriele Schrüfer (Chair of Didactics of Geography) in cooperation with the Internationalisation & Public Engagement Department of the Africa Multiple Cluster (Dr. Doris Löhr). PLURA aims at knowledge transfer and communication of research-based knowledge generated both within the cluster and beyond.
