TUM Establishes African-German Center for Just Energy Transition

   
The project will coordinate a new DAAD-funded center of excellence to support a socially just energy transition in South Africa by combining research, education, and practical living labs that integrate renewable energy systems, workforce development, and rural energy solutions. It brings together TUM and four South African universities to train the next generation of scientists and innovators while translating research into real-world impact for sustainable energy systems across the region.
