Vision for Tomorrow: Advancing eye healthcare through digital technology in Zambia

This project, led by CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission in partnership with the Kitwe Teaching Eye Hospital (KTEH) and Peek Vision (UK), improves eye care in three Zambian districts. It uses the Peek app for vision screenings, digital referrals, and telemedicine-connected slit-lamp systems in clinics. Screenings take place in schools and communities, with complex cases referred digitally for further diagnosis. Around 400,000 people are expected to benefit, and a handover plan ensures long-term sustainability.
