The Mozambique Institute for Health Education and Research (MIHER) is a support centre for health education and research, created with the aim of catalysing and mobilising resources to improve the training of health professionals, develop biomedical research and support health programmes.

It is an intellectual, non-profit institution created in 2011 and which relies on various partnerships to carry out its activities, including national, regional and international public universities, government institutions, NGOs and Bilateral Cooperation Agencies.
