LEAP-RE – Long-term Joint EU-AU Research and Innovation Partnership on Renewable Energy

As climate change becomes more and more significant, sustainable and clean sources of energy are more than ever needed.
The LEAP-RE joint research aims to develop renewable energy as a sustainable source of energy for all in Africa.
For this goal, the project has a broad approach, including stakeholders from the sectors government (programme owners and funding agencies), research and academia, private sector, and civil society. The aim is to reduce fragmentation by aligning existing bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
